A quick note to say that I recently published a historical study of migrants from the Jebel Nafusa, Libya to the island of Djerba, Tunisia during the first half of the 20th century. The article, entitled “M’addibs and Migrant Laborers: Migration from Ottoman Trablus al-Gharb to Djerba, Tunisia in the Early 20th Century” appears in the current issue of the International Journal of Middle East Studies. It is available open access on the journal’s website.
