I recently had the pleasure of giving a short talk on my dissertation topic (Ibadi networks & siyar literature) at the American Center for Maghrebi Studies (CEMA) in Oran, Algeria on my way back from a visit to the Mzab valley. Two articles (one in French and the other in Arabic) appeared in Algerian newspapers and provide very different but very interesting descriptions of the talk: Liberté (in French) & Annasr (in Arabic).
