I am delighted to say that the Journal of Islamic Manuscripts has just published a special issue devoted to “Ibadi Manuscripts and Manuscript Cultures in North Africa”! Edited by me and my colleague Soufien Mestaoui from the Ibadica centre d’études et de recherches sur l’ibadisme, it contains five wonderful contributions on different aspects of Ibadi manuscript libraries and manuscript cultures in the Maghrib by colleagues from Tunisia, Algeria, and Italy.
