An article of mine on Ibadi manuscripts in Naples published in Manuscript Studies in 2018 received the distinction of article of the Month (April 2021) by the Mediterranean Seminar, which is a wonderful community of scholars working on the Mediterranean. I also had the pleasure of speaking about the article with Professor Sharon Kinoshita (University of California, Santa Cruz) and Professor Brian Catlos (University of Colorado at Boulder) as part of the seminar’s podcast, “Let’s Talk Mediterranean.” You can listen to the interview here.
